This was fun project for me personally because I’m an 80’s hiphop fan and used to make mixtape cassettes as a kid. We sent these tapes to high level creative execs within the advertising industry with messaging on the cover that said “Building your ads in Flash is like listening to music on one of these.” Then written on the inner cover was "Let’s face it, cassette tapes just don’t work the way they used to. Sound familiar?” and our call to action. This was a perfect combination of right messaging, sent to the right audience, on the right platform, because the execs who received these all grew up in the cassette tape era and could relate to messaging relevant to their business today.
